My journey into the world of hair began at a young age, accompanying my mum to clients before she transitioned from a mobile business to opening her own salon. Despite studying product design, I found my true passion lay in a more hands-on, creative field. Following in my mum’s hairdressing footsteps, I moved to Manchester to train at the Toni And Guy Academy, earning a cutting and colour diploma.
Returning to the southwest, I joined Essenuals in Bath, obtaining a vardering diploma through the Toni And Guy Academy in London. Recognising my passion for men’s hair, I took a position with Men’s Hairdresser of the Year, Jim Shaw, at the unique EssensualsMEN in Essex. Under Jim’s guidance, I excelled in shoots and shows, earning the American Crew Editor’s Choice Award.
Having established myself as a freelance session stylist, I’ve worked internationally at fashion weeks for the world’s top brands and collaborated with high-profile celebrities. In 2016, I launched Daniel Rymer Male Grooming, dedicated to pushing the latest trends and my passion for innovative hairdressing. Now rebranded as Rythm, I proudly house the best hairdressing talent in the southwest.
